Hey, I apologize for adding static to your inbox. As an unsigned, independent artist, the internet is the most effective way to get the word out about my music. I'm very conscious of the fact that your
time is valuable, which is why I only send out an email every couple of months, with only major developments in my emerging career. And, I totally understand if you don't want anything to do with that.
"How Did You Get My Email Address?"
I create music and online videos. The only way I get your email address is when you give it to me by downloading or buy my music, if you use the sign-up form on my website, or when you forward the song and leave a checkbox saying "I'd like to hear more from Ian Rhett".
"What do you do with my email?"
I don't buy lists, and don't sell or rent mine. I only send out about 6 newsletters per year, announcing major milestones or new music (which is kinda both for me, considering I'm new at this music-thang). I hate spam as much as anyone, but the Internet also affords an unprecedented ability to reach fans directly. I hope you'll stay with me.
