Notes
My first recording and first video. Really intended as a response to the anti-dissent policies of the proponents of the war. I played one song - Unamerican - to a nearly empty venue. But one of the people there invited me to go to Boston tot eh Democratic National Convention. I did and ended up closing the kucinich presidential campaign. I raced home ot start wroking on the video, which was released 3 months later. In Sepctember '04, the Kerry campaign saw my video and invited me to perform in Florida. This song marks the start of whatever's to become of my music career.

"Missing" is Part I of the Missing Suite, a suite of songs about missing persons. Three cases have touched close friends of mine. "Missing" was originally inspired by the former owner of the guitar I'm playing, whose story is told in part II of the Suite and by the story of Jerry Tang, a San Francisco resident. With the recent Kim Family tragedy, the song has come to stand for all missing persons.
"The Ballad of Robert John" - Part II of the Missing Suite. The song tells a tragic and true story that played out in the wintery backroads of Oregon in 2002.
"Unexpected Turns" is Part III of the Missing Suite. History sadly repeats itself. This time as the Kim family disappears for over a week, trapped on a rural Oregon road.
Opening for the Tower of Power at the Fillmore. First song of the set.
